Here I am again! After a demanding but incredibly rewarding week in Ireland, I finally returned to Switzerland where I have to make up for some almost sleepless nights in Ireland. So what did I do in the past week? Party hard and drink Guinness ad nauseam? Nah, not really. Together with people from 20 other countries, I took part in a camp for disabled people organised by the Order of Malta. It’s the camp’s goal to enable disabled people around the world to spend a carefree week full of activities and fun.
Even though I took my camera with me, I was not able to get a lot of practise during my stay in Ireland. It was almost naive to think that I would get a lot of spare time to seriously engage in photography. But after seeing the beautiful (and very fast changing) light in Ireland, I already decided that I will go back there in the near future.
For this week’s photo challenge, I decided to dig out an old picture I have taken quite a while ago. What could depict “carefree” more than a bunch of children playing, screaming and frolicking in huge water fountains?
Hope you enjoyed my contribution for this week’s challenge! I am looking forward to reading your thoughts and inputs!b
