Interestingly, a lot of people seem to associate the word “escape” with something positive. At least, you’ll find a lot of really beautiful pictures of romantic beaches and other scenic landscapes, if you go through the entries for the weekly photo challenge that have been submitted so far. We often want to escape our daily routine by going on an adventure. This interpretation had also crossed my mind while considering what photo I could post, but I kept thinking of a darker one.
What do lots of people want to escape from? Pressure, responsibility, reality, or even life itself? What are the means to do so?
This picture symbolises the word “escape” to me. Maybe even desperation.
